How To Delete AO3 Account | Archive of Our Own
Follow these steps below to delete a work on AO3 (Archive of Our Own):
Step 1. Navigate to the chapter you wish to view.
Step 2. Find the “Delete Chapter” button, which appears above the chapter title.
Step 3. Now, after selecting the “Delete” button, a dialogue window will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the chapter. Simply click on “OK” and the chapter will be deleted.
NOTE: Deleting your account will remove your works from the Archive. If you would like to delete your account but want to keep your works online, please consider orphaning your works
Follow these steps below to delete your account from your profile page.
Step 1. Log into your AO3 account.
Step 2. Go to your Dashboard by selecting the greeting “Hi, [username]!” and choosing “My Dashboard” from the menu, or by selecting your profile image.
Step 3. Select “Profile” from the menu.
Step 4. Now click on “Delete My Account”
Step 5. Meanwhile, if you have any works, you will be asked if you would like to orphan them or delete them.
Please note also that this is a permanent action. There is no way of restoring a deleted account!
