How To Delete Panopto Account
Follow these steps below to Merge and Delete User Accounts:
Step 1. Access your Panopto Admin.
Step 2. Select the System menu from the bottom left-hand corner of your Panopto site.
Step 3. Now select Users.
Step 4. Locate the user account you want to transfer content and permissions from. Hover your cursor over their username and select the Info button that appears
Step 5. On the Info tab, scroll to the bottom, and locate the Merge and Delete User section. Enter the exact user name of the user account you want to transfer content and permissions to, and then select Merge and Delete User.
NOTE: Please note: for user accounts created via integrations, this will be in the format instancename\username (i.e. moodle\user123). If you are unsure of the syntax, look for the name of the user first.
Step 6. Select OK to proceed.
